Women’s Ministries
Contact: Elaine Holt (holtelec@comcast.net)
We are here to help women at HCC become committed disciples of Jesus Christ and to have a mature spiritual walk with the Lord. This walk would be characterized by women who are personally studying the Bible, praying, sharing their faith, in fellowship with others in the church, ministering through their gifts and being discipled themselves and discipling others.
- Small Group Bible Studies: A small group is a great place to develop friendships with other women who can help you grow closer to God. There are currently three small groups meeting. See the HCC Small Groups Booklet for details.
- Women’s Prayer Meeting: On Thursday mornings at 8.45am at Ruth Chamberlain’s house. Call Ruth (781-729-3068).
- Saturday Morning Breakfasts: We plan to meet periodically, typically the first Saturday of the month, at Panera Bread in Burlington, from 8.30-10.00am. Come when you can.
- Special Events: We plan to organize periodic special events (Ladies Teas, Women’s Conferences, etc.), which will be announced in the weekly bulletin
- Single Women: Email Adrianne Cook at cookieeight8@hotmail.com for more information.
- Caleb Ministries: Caleb Ministries offers confidential support to women who have experienced infertility, miscarriage, stillbirth, early infant death and who are coming to terms with an abortion. This ministry also offers caring and understanding, various appropriate materials, and a one on one Bible study for ladies who have experienced miscarriage and also abortion. If you know of someone who might benefit from this confidential ministry, perhaps a phone call or a hospital/home visit, please contact Susan Piper at 781-270-7888, a member of our church, who is the area representative for Caleb Ministries.
