Services

During the summer months, we have Sunday services at 10:00 AM. On September 14 we will return to our regular ministry year schedule of a 9:30 AM Sunday School Hour followed by a 10:45 AM Worship Service. Our GENESIS worship gathering takes place on Sunday evenings at 6:00 PM.

Special Events

  • Please pray for Doug Simpson and Iain Whitfield who are part of a mission team traveling to Haiti from July 12-19.
  • Men gather for a men's breakfast on the third Saturday each month downstairs at HCC from 7:30-9:00 AM. The breakfasts this summer are on July 19 and August 16. Every man is welcome.
  • Several of our missionary families will be visiting us this summer: the Lidstroms on July 20, and the Jamesons on August 10. Please join us each Sunday fun a lunch following the service. The Harlans will join us for September 7, the day of our Celebration service (see below).
  • On July 27 we will have a cookout lunch behind the church after service; bring your own folding chair if you need one!
  • On September 7 we will have our outdoor service of Celebration.
  • We have a group of tickets to two of the Lowell Spinners games this summer, Friday, July 18 and Friday, August 15. See Al Cialella (781-267-4723) to purchase ticket(s) for you, your friends, and your family. The tickets are $5 each.

Opportunities for Prayer

  • We are on summer schedule so please contact Paul Flemming for the summer Prayer events: 781-273-5489
  • Each Wednesday morning a group of men meets at the church from 6:30-7:00am to pray for the ministries of HCC.
  • Women's prayer group has stopped for the summer. It will resume in the fall (Thursday mornings from 8:45-9:45 at Ruth Chamberlain's home). If interested call Ruth at 781-729-3068.

Opportunities to Serve

  • On the second Monday of each month, we partner with The Dwelling Place ministry offering food to the needy. Please email David King at pverbs2131@aol.com.

Opportunities to Learn - for Men

  • We are on summer schedule so please contact Brian Battle for Men's Ministry events. 978-362-3250
  • The men's ministry at Hope, Journeymen, is starting a new Thursday evening men's small group studying the Epistles. The group will meet every other Thursday from 7:30-8:30 PM at Hope, beginning on June 26. Contact Brian Battle or Bruce Stirling for more information.
  • The Wednesday Evening Men's Bible Study meets each week from 7-8:30pm at HCC, beginning a new study of 1 Corinthians. Contact Thomas Adams at (781) 641-0495 or Steve Amato at (617) 281-9589 for information.
  • On Wednesday mornings from 7:00 to 8:00 AM, a group of men gather for prayer at the church.
