To cry out to the Lord for a spiritual outpouring at HCC so that we, his people are empowered to walk in fullness of life & fulfill our God ordained purpose as the body of Christ – so that HCC will be transformed from “a church that prays to a praying church” through His Holy Spirit.
Leader: Iain Whitfield, iain@hopechristianchurch.org
To lead congregational praise and worship each Sunday and at seasonal services throughout the year. Our focus is on worship and praise as a “sacrifice” or “incense offering” to the Lord. Our intention is both “to delight” and “to take delight in” the Lord, ministering to Him as He inhabits the praises of His people. We are instruments pointing to God and as such are lead worshipers rather than performers of worship.
Small groups have always been important at Hope Christian Church. We encourage every believer to be in a small group environment as a means of discipleship, community and encouragement. This ministry year we want to put greater emphasis on Small Group participation and to use our small groups to keep us focused on “Reaching Out”. In addition to several well-established small groups, we are offering a number of new groups that are open to all, including a few special interest groups, men’s groups and women’s groups. Full details may be found in the current HCC Small Groups Booklet, available at church or from an elder.

To help each man learn to live fully for Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. To this end, we help men become more like Christ; connect men with other men for support, encouragement and prayer; and we equip men for service in their home, church, work and community.

To help women at HCC become committed disciples of Jesus Christ who have a mature spiritual walk with the Lord. This walk would be characterized by women who are personally studying the Bible, praying, sharing their faith, in fellowship with others in the church, ministering through their gifts and being discipled themselves and discipling others.
Leader: David King, Pverbs2131@aol.com
Helping young people deny themselves, find life and identity in Christ, and live a life of love and worship through the power of the Holy Spirit! We also seek to integrate the youth into other ministries so that each student discovers his or her purpose in the church using their God-given gifts and abilities to reach their potential.
Leader: Jenny DiMuzio, rjdimuzio@verizon.net
To provide an environment for children where the love of God is taught, demonstrated, & experienced. Our desire is that every child that is a part of this ministry will come to know Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and be able to share their faith with others.
Leader: Dave and Sheryl Gonzales, gonzales4K@gmail.com
To promote and organize congregational care within HCC for members in need - primarily for physical rather than spiritual or emotional needs. This will mean providing a structure through which the congregation can help one another by acting as a conduit for needs to be both raised and, as far as possible, met within the family at HCC.
Leader: Aneena Ananth, aneenaananth@yahoo.com
To love the body of Christ by creating opportunities for intergenerational fellowship; to enable the body to share Christ’s love with one another through opportunities of intergenerational fellowship; to enable the body to share Christ’s love with non-believers through invitations to intergenerational fellowship.
Contact Cenia to hear about casual lunches or parties held about once a month to hang out and get to know each other better. Single women are invited to contact Adrianne Cook (cookieeight8@hotmail.com) if they are interested in a regular small group.
Dave and Sandy Butters are exploring ways by which our community of young adults can meet together to fellowship, to explore the Lord and to reach into the broader HCC community. This group will meet monthly through June, with dates to be decided by group availability. It is our hope that at the end of these six months a new small group will emerge for the 20-30 Somethings at HCC. If you are a young adult and would be interested in joining that dialog, please contact Dave & Sandy Butters (djbutters@gmail.com; slbutters@yahoo.com)
Leaders: Colin and Susan Piper, susiepip2@yahoo.com

Leader: Bob Zickell, bzickell@verizon.net
To serve the body of HCC by caring for the maintenance and upgrades of the church building and property at 58 Mt. Vernon Street Winchester and to provide accounting, budget and financial oversight for the church finances.
Leader: Doug Simpson, dasimps@alum.mit.edu
To unite the congregation of HCC to minister to the needy outside of the congregation. To bind likeminded believers in their desire to reach out and show Christ’s compassion to others. To set in place a structure by which new members of the congregation may get plugged into serving the community outside the church.
